You want a channel?
Creating a channel in Blackpool4me will give you the opportunity to promote your group, organisation, business or service to a wide audience. You and your channel members will be able to communicate with each other, join in discussions and provide you with feedback. Within the channel you can create private areas for particular groups of members to read and discuss specific content.
If you are interested having a channel of your own please complete the form below and send it to us. Please include details of how we can best get in touch with you. There is no charge for you or your organisation, but you will need to allocate some time towards the project, although this can be shared by a group of members. Blackpool4me is web based, so you will not need to install any special software on your computer to use it.
The Blackpool4me team will
- discuss with you what is involved in creating and managing a channel
- talk about how your channel could look, and what could be in it
- invite you to join a training course for channel managers
- advise you on the help and support available from the team and from fellow channel managers
Your channel must be seen to be of benefit to Blackpool and its communities, and you will be asked to sign up to certain guidelines. Otherwise the freedom and responsiblity are yours to enjoy!
