Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use the service?
Anyone experiencing a mobility disadvantage.
This could be because of a disability or health problem that prevents you from getting to the nearest bus stop. We are wheelchair friendly.
The bus picks you up at your door and takes you to wherever you want to go, providing we have a bus going in the general direction.
Enquire when making the booking if you need a seat for a carer.
How much will it cost?
The minimum fare is £2.00 per journey, however, just like any other bus service you can use your OAP or disabled bus pass to obtain concessionary travel.
Do I need to book a seat?
As you can imagine the service is very popular so you would have to book your seat in advance - 2 days if possible.
We may sometimes be able to accommodate you the day before - please call us.
When does the service operate?
The service operates between the hours of:
9.15am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday
How does the service work?
Our professional and friendly drivers will help you from your door to the bus and will ensure you are safe and secure for travelling.
Unfortunately the driver cannot wait longer than a maximum of 5 minutes after pick up time.
Drivers may arrive 5 minutes early or late depending on traffic.
