We are the Friends of Stanley Park. Our activities are focussing on making the most of Blackpools biggest and most treasured park. In addition we operate as a friendly group who meet to chat as well as organise our work. We are always happy to greet new members and volunteers so if you'd like to join us please go to our main website linked below.

The park has been awarded a multi-million pound fund for rejuvenation by the Heritage Lottery Fund supported by Blackpool Council, the Friends of Stanley Park and Blackpool Civic Trust. There's plenty going on so please look round our website.

We have the following meetings remaining in 2008, also a Christmas Fair.

Tuesday, December 9th with guest: Maureen Tranton who will speak on 'the Real Von-Trapp Family'.

All meetings begin at 7pm at the Stanley Park Visitor Centre (next to the Cafe), plenty of car parking.


Christmas Fair at the Visitor Centre on Sunday December 7th at 10am.

Members and non-members are welcome. Please note that there is a charge for non-members on the 7th December unless you join before or on the night.
