If the answer is yes, then this may well be the place for you.
Our aim is to encourage the pursuance of genealogy and family history and to provide a friendly point of contact for people who need support in their research.
Our meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 2pm, upstairs in the Central Library, anyone with an interest in family history is welcome.
Short talks are given at the monthly meetings on a variety of subjects ranging from the origin of a family heirloom to long lost family reunions.
Coffee / tea and home-made cakes are served for which a charge of 70p is made.
Membership is £1 per year and is open to everyone and becomes effective on attendance.
