If you log in as a registered user, Blackpool4Me will
- Welcome you by name
- Add more options to the top and bottom toolbars
- Give you access to any features listed in the right hand section of individual channel pages
- Display an Edit Console if you have rights to create and manage channel pages
Top Bar links
- My Forums includes not only the B4Me General Discussion but also any channel forums to which you have access. As a registered user you post as well as read messages
- Your Details where you can update your personal details or change your password
- Favourites
As a registered user you can build a homepage that reflects your interests, and easily keeps you in touch with what's going on in your favourite channels
Click on the Add to My Channel Favourites option under Features on the right hand side of the channel page. You can then choose to add to your list just that channel or all the channels in that category. Click Finished to complete the list.
Clicking on Favourites in the top bar will take you to your list. You can then delete from it channels you are no longer interested in.
From now on the Latest Pages listings will highlight and mark with an F those from your favourite channels.

- If any items that appear cause offence, please click this link – takes you to a form that you can complete and send to the Blackpool4Me team if you have concerns about anything you see.
Channel Features
As a registered user you can access any additional features that the channel manager has chosen to add to that channel, such as discussion forums or on-line surveys. Click on the name of the feature to find out more.
- Search - takes you to the page where you can tailor the search to meet your needs
- Contact Channel Manager - lets you send a message to the manager of the channel
- Add to My Channel Favourites - lets you add this channel to your list of favourites (see above)
- Join This Channel - lets you apply to become a member of this channel and access pages and features that are for members only
- Channel Noticeboard - takes you to the noticeboard for the channel you are in to see messages, giveaways and items for sale. Click on an item for further information and contact details. Registered users have the option to submit noticeboard items to the channel manager by clicking on the New Item option and filling in the form. Items are only posted to the noticeboard for a limited period.
- Channel Forum - is the direct route to the forum for the channel you are in. However, you must apply to join this channel (see above) and be accepted by the channel's manager before you have access to their forum
