Our lives are changing - In today's world the use of computers and digital devices (such as mobile phones, MP3 players, digital cameras and many more) is increasing all the time.

This means there's a real need to help people get the most from the digital media they are creating and using so they can fulfil their potential.

Now BCS, who have helped over 1.5 million people improve their computer skills through the ECDL qualification, have developed Digital Cre8or, a new award that will help people learn how to release the potential of their digital devices and computers.

Who is it for?

Compact discs 

This Level 2 award is initially targeted at school users of digital media from Key Stage 3 onwards who want to receive recognition for the work they do. However, it is anticipated that many other computer users with an interest in digital media will undertake the award.

The syllabus for this exciting new award is broken down into the following modules:

Creative
A. Understand, Capture and Manipulate Digital Audio
B. Understand, Capture and Manipulate Digital Still Images
C. Understanding Moving Image Language
D. Understand, Capture and Manipulate Digital Video
E. Digital Storytelling with Animation

Sharing
F. Sharing Digital Media on Optical Media such as DVDs
G. Sharing Digital Media on the Web
