You can become a member of Blackpool Libraries at any of the Libraries below:
Anchorsholme; Bispham; Boundary; Central; Layton; Mereside; Palatine and Revoe
(for detailed information about the Libraries see each individual Libraries' page)
To join Blackpool Libraries you need to go along to any one of the Libraries with one form of identity showing proof of address eg a recent utility bill (Gas, Electricity, Telephone). You will be asked to complete a simple joining form for each person wanting to become a member.
Anyone under the age of sixteen wishing to become a member will need to have their parent's signature on their joining form and provide evidence of their parent's residence and signature, as detailed above.
The joining forms are available from the Libraries themselves or you could print
a copy. If you click on the link below it will take you to a page where you can
access the joining forms on-line.

A Library Card, that can be used to borrow items and to book a PC, will be issued when you join and can be used from that first visit. When you visit the Library you should always take the card because your membership number is on the back.
This number and bar code is used each time you borrow an item so it ensures that
an item is speedily and efficiently assigned to the right member.
