Norah's Christmas Tipple

This recipe for a really nice Christmas drink (if you like Baileys) was given to me by a friend called Norah.  So ever afterwards it became known as 'Norah's Christmas Tipple'.

This drink also makes a rather nice alternative to milk in your coffee when you are 'in' for the evening.  It tastes great and if you are like me the Whisky content gets 'upped' a bit...so don't have this and drive!

Oh yeah, and it only takes about 5 minutes to make.

Ingredients:

1 tin Condensed Milk
1 tin Evaporated Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon Glycerin
1 teacup Whisky
1 tablespoon good quality instant coffee & 7 tablespoons hot water

First off - dissolve the instant coffee in the hot water and put it aside to cool.  Then put  both the Condensed and Evaporated Milk into a really large bowl and stirring gently, add the Vanilla Essence, Glycerin and Whisky.  Now beat it together with the cooled coffee mixture.

Once it is all incorporated evenly stick it in a bottle - glass with screw top is best.  If you keep it in the fridge it lasts really well, I can't give you an accurate figure but I have kept it weeks and it was as good as the day it was made.
