We have learnt of a healthy, young cat that was treateed with Bob Martin's Spot On (fromt he local Morrisons). The cat almost died., was on a drip and kept at the vet overnight. Now,after a huge vet bill, the cat has been left with kidney damage and a heart murmour, will always need extra care and is on (costly) medication for life.
The local vet attributes this to an ingredient of Spot on which he himself has not used for 40 years.
This not only harms dogs and cats, even takes paint off if splashed onto woodwork, but will also be ineffective on fleas because they have become resistant to many older treatments.

This cat was treated with his sister, the sister is fine, so don't think you can rely on the product being safe if one has survived it before.
