Greenlands P.A.C.T meetings

Greenlands Ward

 Our pledge to you

The Policing Pledge sets out minimum standards of service that you can expect to receive from us. These range from standards for answering calls promptly, how you can have a say over how your neighbourhood is policed, how you can expect to receive up to date information about local crime and how you will be supported if you are a victim of crime.

What do you want to happen in your area?

Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

P.A.C.T News
After a review it was decided by the Police that Greenlands, Ingethorpe and Warbreck PACT are to merge and will be held in each of the respective wards once every 3 months.
Some people feel that this is not good enough and will lose sight of any priorities in their area, so the two Greenlands Ward Councillors have, after consulting with residents decided to carry on with the Greenlands PACT meetings every month at Springfield Methodist Hall as usual at 6.30pm following their surgery at 6pm.
There may not always be a Police presence but the meeting format will be as normal and a full report and priorities will be forwarded to the Police the following day and will be brought up at the next meeting.
This move is in direct response to resident’s requests as they do not want to travel to another ward, especially with the coming dark and cold weather.
Business as usual.
