Blackpool Residents Federation and its affilliated group the
Blackpool Private Tenants Forum held their fourth "private tenants" information days on Friday the 27th of April in the newly refurbished Floral Hall of the Winter Gardens.
in attendance were over 25 agencies from throught the town and beyond to help and advise members of the private rented sector with any problems or issues they may have.
The event was officially opened by
Gordon Marsden MP who welcomed everyone and gave a brief outline on the history and aims of the Residents Federation and their recent work with the private rented sector, also mentioning that the group are one of the founder members of the newly formed National Private Tenants Organisation.
The day went well with over 200 members of the public visiting the various stands, most of who were private tenants, although the information available was also for the benefit of any resident.

People who filled in our questionaire were entered into a free draw for a food hamper
