We will be celebrating the launch of the Forum with an informal programme of performances and a Global Village of stalls from local community groups. This will be an open event and here are some of the things you can expect:
An African Drumming Workshop
Traditional costumes and fashion show
Information stalls from various community groups and organisations
Food, music, dance, artwork and books from around the world and closer to home

Aim of the event: To encourage genuine social interaction with people from different communities
Key Objectives of the event: To raise awareness of the Forum and its members. To get more individuals, community groups and organisations involved in the work of the Forum. To celebrate Blackpool as the link between all of the diverse communities represented on the Race Equality Forum.
