Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Forum was established in 2006 to raise awareness of LGBT issues for the community at a strategic level and to ensure the LGBT community has a say in all local decisions made by the Council, Police, Local Strategic Partnership and Primary Care Trust. LGBT Forum Launch
 Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde LGBT Forum celebrated its official launch on Friday 13th April 2007 at Blackpool Grand Theatre

There were information displays from Lancashire Constabulary, Bsafe Blackpool, the Liberty Church, Body Positive, Blackpool Pride, Drugline and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
Services and organisations that work with the LGBT community came together to show support for the forum. The event celebrated the work that the forum has carried out so far to give the LGBT community in Blackpool a voice. |
