Big Advice Week!
The Equalities Forum was represented at Blackpool's Big Advice Week 2007 at the Winter Gardens on Wednesday 14th March.
Sandi, Catherine and Jill from the Faith, Equality and Diversity Unit at Blackpool Council manned a stall displaying lots of Equalities information such as Faith Directories, Gender Equality Questionnaires, Multifaith Calendars and plenty of leaflets on topics such as:
the Equalities Forum Open Meeting
the LGBT Forum Launch
Disability PACT meetings
the Gender Equality Duty
the Disability Equality Scheme (action plan)
There was also a live interview on Radio Wave.
