All groups strugle to pay for transport. We at Mereside have purchased a 17 seater minibus to help with this problem.
Voluntary and Community groups can affiliate to our Minibus for only £25.00 per year, then it costs only £20.00 per day (please note: Multi Group Orgs ie. Scouts / Guides must affiliate as individual groups), The bus is serviced regularly and has full RAC Cover for vehicle and upto 17 persons. (Please note: Statutory groups ie. Local Authority, NHS etc. cost is £35.00 per day).
You must provide your own driver who has a current MiDAS Certificate. See our
MiDAS page for details of how to obtain this.
The minibus is used frequently and can be booked up weeks in advance, so if you are planning a day trip book your transport early.
