to the Heritage Lottery Project Stanley Park homepage.

Project Closure

The Stanley Park volunteering project will be closed over the winter months.

We hope to begin activities again around February and would like to thank all the volunteers who have given their time over the previous months as part of the Heritage Lottery Project.

About Us
The Heritage Lottery Project aims to restore Blackpool's treasured Stanley Park using a multi-million pound Heritage Lottery grant and the helping hands of enthusiastic volunteers. 

Here you can find information about the project, the park and how you can help.

Rejuvenation plans for Stanley Park include encouraging greater use of it's many facilities, restoring it's buildings, pathways, walls and gardens and a complete clean-up of the lake, to recapture all of it's original beauty. 

There are lots of opportunities for volunteers on the project to help create paths, plant bulbs and trees and carryout conservation work to help preserve the wildlife in the park. There are also lots of other positions available, which you can find out about either on here or by contacting the Volunteer Centre.
