How To Find Us
Car
From the M55 - leave at Junction 4, turn right at the exit roundabout.
Pass the windmill. The Park is sign-posted.
At the 4th set of lights turn right at the filter onto South Park Drive.
Through one more set of lights and then left at the mini-roundabout onto West Park Drive.
There is parking on the surrounding road, inside the Park at the cafe(limited) and at the Zoo Car Park which is about 200m away.
Bus
From the town centre get a 4 bus (Mereside) either at Talbot Road bus station, or outside the Main Post Office in Abingdon Street, or outside the main church in Church Street; and ask for Stanley Park gates.
There is a hop on - hop off shuttle bus service from the town centre that goes to all the sights in Blackpool in season.
Train
Blackpool North; walk across Talbot Road to the bus station, see the bus route above.
Walk/Cycle
From the Tower there are two routes both just over a mile;
Walk towards HMV and keep going till you get to Hornby Road follow this for about a mile (it's flat stop complaining), cross Whitegate Drive and take the right fork into Mere Road. You should be able to see the Park gates at the end.
The second route takes you past the front of the Opera House/Winter Gardens up Church Street till you can see the Number 3 pub at Devonshire Square. Go right on Whitegate Drive till you get to Hornby Road.
As on the previous route cross cross Whitegate Drive and take the right fork into Mere Road. You should be able to see the Park gates at the end.
The Cafe, located inside the Park, offers excelltent refreshments for travelers so please pay them a visit.
