is a government funded programme delivered through the Big Lottery Fund to bring about WORLD CLASS youth facilities
driven by the active participation of young people and their views and needs

Blackpool Council on behalf of a cross-sector partnership including Blackpool SURF and the Blackpool Council for Voluntary Youth Services have submited a bid for an amazing £4.5m centre which the young people driving the bid have chosen to call Southpoint.

Blackpool SURF is contacting its own members that work with or support children, young people or families, with a view to seeking involvement on three issues:
- Contributing to the MyPlace proposals to strengthen any funding bid
- Giving their views on Young People's Fund 2
- Getting involved in proposals to to establish a new thematic Network of groups that can have a more effective voice and influence in the developing Children & Young People's Strategy for the town (click here for proposal document).
