Getting involved with SURF

As members of Blackpool SURF you can help to shape and develop the organisation. SURF relies on its members to play a role within the organisation. SURF will endeavour to make this possible through fulfilling the “SURF pledge”, (subject to resources being available and the expenses having been agreed in advance).

SURF Pledge
"If you wish to come to an event but there are issues that make your attendance difficult (eg. lack of transport, care issues, hard-of-hearing, etc.) then SURF will make every effort to provide facilities for your involvement. Please contact Helena on 01253 749657 or e-mail: admin@blackpoolsurf.org.uk
at least 14 days prior to the event.”

Problems getting to and from meetings?
Blackpool SURF will pay taxi expenses if members have difficulty in getting to or from meetings, where public transport is not available or it is not possible to car share. Consideration must always be given to using the most cost- effective method of travel. As the organisation is a charity, claimants are encouraged to keep expenses to a minimum.
