Achieving Decent Homes through an Estate Focus The estates of Grange Park, Mereside and Queens Park experience multiple deprivation so the delivery of joined up services will continue. This will result in better homes and communities and will improve life opportunities for residents. Thriving District Centres Neighbourhoods need sites of focus where shops, businesses and services are located. A number of larger centres have been identified as District Centres and will undergo physical change to ensure residents are better served. Green and Open Spaces The environment will be improved through greening schemes, making nature more accessible and through developing the parks and green spaces that already exist. This will result in more residents having access to green and open spaces.
