Community Advice Strategy

The Community Advice Strategy group includes representatives of funders of advice, providers of information & advice and users and potential users of services. Public awareness, however, needs to be improved to ensure that they know where to go for advice on various matters, for example debt, housing or mental health. The group is in place to help improve the quality of people's lives.
Bob Wills thanked both Marie and Pam for the good work they are doing with the group.
SURF was invited to attend the next strategy group meeting on 4 May 2007. Bob Williams and Ken Oldfield are to attend and report back to the next Network Meeting where a representative would be formally elected. It was proposed that the community advice strategy document be submitted for discussion by the LSP.
