Joan Humble, MP for Blackpool North and Fleetwood, is joining the Mayor & Mayoress of Wyre in the selection of the Fleetwood Carnival Queen. The event commences at 2pm on Sunday 16th March 2008, at Fleetwood Workingmen's Club.

Mrs Humble said:

"I always enjoy assisting with the selection of Fleetwood's Carnival Queen. It is also always difficult to come to a decision because the standard of entry is consistently high and I am sure that will be the case this year."
