Thank you for making enquiries about what Trans support is available here in Blackpool
First we have a monthly meeting of the Transinclusion group (Putting the T into LGBT) which is a well attended support and social group who meet every THIRD TUESDAY evening of the month, see link below for further details and agendas. For the F/M trans community every SECOND TUESDAY of the month is the evening in which we hold a meeting of the Lancashire Lads Group which is a F/M support and social group. secondly we have a weekly mixed Trans group every Monday between 12.00 and 2.00 pm (this meeting only is at the Cornerstone offices under the Salvation Army building). All these meetings are held in a comfortable, informal and most importantly safe environment at the offices of SHIVER which can be located at at 102 Dickson Road Blackpool FY1 2BU. Also a big regular event for the Trans community is a twice monthly social evening held at the Gynway Hotel on Dickson Road hosted by the lovely Linda and Petra where trans community members and their partners can relax and unwind in the company of other T community members in their beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated hotel. The night is called "Renaissance" and attracts trans people from all over the country with the social evenings now becoming an established part of the North West trans scene. This group is for all genders and orientations and meets every SECOND & FOURTH TUESDAY of the month and a must for all trans community calendars!
