Relate in Lancashire and Cumbria is actively welcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to access the service for relationship counselling. We would like to change the inaccurate perception that Relate is only for straight couples. This perception is a barrier to many couples who could find Relate a useful resource.
Relate actively welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people. Relate’s psychosexual therapists have training to equip them to work with gay and lesbian couples. 
Relate offers advice, relationship counselling, sex therapy, workshops, mediation, consultations and support face-to-face, by phone and through this website.
