Who We Are
GASP UK is an Independent Alcohol Care & Support Service established to provide the lgbt community with a support link to alcohol support and long term aftercare to those in recovery and being affected by alcohol misuse.

Our aim is to set up a national online / offline survey questionnaire on alcohol dependency in the lgbt community,  to do some research on the alcohol abuse / misuse problems which are hidden within the lgbt community and also working to set up a national helpline service for victims of alcohol abuse or members of the lgbt community in recovery needing some assistance, including having links with nationwide alcohol services and self help support groups and services for the individual in recovery in a safe environment for alcohol problems or alcohol related issues no matter where in the UK you are. 


Although we are based in Blackpool, and are setting up lgbt alcohol care services and self help support groups for our local area , we are actively working with alcohol services and agencies nationwide for the individuals from the lgbt community who may feel that they need some assistance from fellow lgbt members who have had similar problems in finding you the right direction for your problem with alcohol.


GASP UK was set up and is run by people that have previously, been affected by addiction to alcohol and from the lgbt community also.  We highlight the dangers & health risks of misusing alcohol as alcohol is a drug and needs the respect that you would give a prescription from your doctor or over the chemist counter..
