Just off Devonshire Road is a small cluster of flats known as Munster Avenue. Three years ago the residents decided they wanted their voices to be heard within Housing and as a result formed the successful Munster Avenue Tenants Association.
As a result of the association residents have chosen to plant low shrubs around the lower window areas to help stop people walking in front of residents ground floor lounge windows.
As part of housing's ongoing improvement programme, home had their bathrooms and kitchens fully refurbished. All residents were given the choice from a wide range of kitchen and bathroom styles and colours. Both rooms were fully tiled, and look wonderful.
If you live on Munster Avenue, look out for a flyer coming through your door telling you when and where the next open meeting will be. Meetings are held once every 3 months.
