Community Learning Champions Project has a wide variety of information about what is happening nationally with other learning champions. Currently in Blackpool we have 30 or more active volunteers supporting informal learning about Blackpool's heritage.
These volunteers have undergone training and are registered on the national Community Learning Champions (CLC) website and adhere to its values and principles.
During its first 18 months, 2,000 CLCs were registered with the National Support Programme and gained the benefits of being part of a flourishing nationwide movement. CLCs are being recruited and trained all the time, so if your organisation is working with new CLCs, make sure you register them by following the link on the left.
Whether you are a Community Learning Champion, a manager of a project, someone wondering how they can become a champion or about how to set a project up you should find lots here to help you. Please take a few minutes to look at the latest information which is a report on the national programme.
