NOTE – This programme is ONLY for 2nd tier / infrastructure organisations
NACVS (one of the partners in the ICT Hub) are able to facilitate and fund a
programme of exchange visits for 2nd tier organisations.
This announcement is for infrastructure organisations who either:
• Are looking to increase their provision of ICT services to their local
voluntary and community sector, but would like to check their plans against
another body who have already achieved what they have planned
• Have a good service model or have been successful in delivering ICT
support or services to the VCS and now feel able to share their knowledge
with others.
If you are a local infrastructure organisation and you fit either of the
above then contact me (paul@nacvs.org.uk) with your details so I can see if
I can make a match for you. If you already know of a partnership you could
follow-up with a visit also let me know as we may be able to help with this
too.
All reasonable costs incurred by the visiting organisation will be paid for
by the ICT Hub, with a consultancy fee also being paid to the host of the
visit.
Not all request for funding will necessarily be funded as there is a limit
to the number of exchange visits that can be funded in each region, and we
are also looking to ensure the programme covers a wide range of information
exchanges (if similar topics are being frequently requested a network
meeting may be more suitable - see future publicity).
There will be an announcement about visits for frontline organisations
later.
