June the 12th was chosen for the Church Day Out to the Lake District. The weather was idyllic and the fellowship great. The first stop at the Brockholes Visitor Centre proved popular with both the young and young at heart.
Thanks go to David for taking us out on his boat. What a wonderful trip!
The Scenery was breathtaking as usual.
Games were arranged for those with enough energy before the coach transfer to Ambleside. Some decided to shop or sit and watch the world go by before going to St. Mary's Parish Centre for a delicious home cooked meal.
