A member of the NEAT Team removing rubbish from Kincraig Lake

Update

I'm delighted to report that the Rubbish Amnesty was a huge success.  In fact it was so popular that it over-ran on both days!  Thank you to everyone who helped, especially the NEAT Team.

As promised, I will organise further Rubbish Amnesties early next year.

Rubbish Amnesty In Ingthorpe

I admit that I have a very big "bee in my bonnet" about fly tipping and litter!  Here in Ingthorpe Ward we are fortunate to have some lovely green open spaces, especially Kincraig Lake and Robins Lane, and it's so annoying to see them blighted by rubbish and fly tipping.

I have allocated money from my Ward Budget to organise a Rubbish Amnesty on two consecutive Saturdays in April, the 14th and 21st.  Residents will be able to bring all their bulk waste and rubbish, including white goods such as fridges and freezers, to be removed free of charge.

The collection point dates and times are:

Saturday 14th April
10am – 11.45am Portree Road
12pm – 1pm Kincraig Place
1.15pm – 2pm Honeysuckle Place

Saturday 21st April
10am – 11am Lowland Way
11.15am - 12.15 Kairnryan Close, Irvine Close and Galloway Crescent
12.30pm – 1.15pm Dumfries Close
1.15pm – 2pm Kilmory Place

This information will be posted in the relevant areas, and it has been advertised in the Evening Gazette.  The article can be read by
