PACT (Police and Community Together)
The Ingthorpe PACT meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at Kincraig Place Community Centre from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The new Ingthorpe Community Beat Manager, PC Michelle Stewart, will be attending the next meeting on August 6th. All residents are welcome to attend to discuss police related issues with PC Stewart or Councillor Kath Rowson.
Ingthorpe In Bloom
Kath Rowson is once again organising the annual Ingthorpe In Bloom competition. The judges this year are Tim Riley, Blackpool Council Parks Department, and the new Ingthorpe Ward Community Beat Manager, PC Michelle Stewart. Judging will take place on Thursday 31st July, and the closing date is Thursday 24th July. Please complete the entry form below if you wish to take part. Good luck everyone!
Friends of Kincraig Lake
We are very lucky to have a registered biological heritage site, Kincraig Lake, here in Ingthorpe. Kath Rowson and a number of residents have formed a Friends of Kincraig Lake group to enable them to access funding to improve the area. They have already carried out one clean-up day to remove litter and fly-tipping, and are organising another on Saturday 6th September. If you are interested in joining them, please ring Kath on Blackpool 356866.
Carers Team
If you care for a relative, spouse, partner or friend who cannot manage on his or her own, Blackpool Council’s Carers Team can help you with a confidential support service.
They can provide information about: -
- Benefits such as Carers Allowance, Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance
- Practical help
- Taking a break
- Carers assessments
- Support groups
- Carers and Employment

Working Together for Ingthorpe
Councillor’s Surgery: Kath Rowson holds a surgery on the first Monday of every month (except Bank Holidays) at Kincraig Place Community Centre from 6pm to 6.30pm, and jointly with the Police at the PACT meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at Kincraig Place Community Centre from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

Police Surgeries: A member of the Ingthorpe Neighbourhood Policing Team is available to discuss issues of concern to residents at Kincraig Place Community Centre at the following times:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays – 11.00am to 11.30am
Thursdays and Sundays – 7.00pm – 7.30pm
MP’s Surgery: Our Member of Parliament, Joan Humble, holds surgeries every Friday at various locations in the Constituency. Please ring 877346 to make an appointment.
