Victory in the Battle of the Lifts!

It's taken a while, but eventually the Council have given me the pledge I wanted.  Following my intervention, and on the front page of the 'Blackpool Reporter', the Chief Executive of Blackpool Coastal Housing said the following "BCH have contracts in place to attend to repairs out of working hours for both the lifts and the front doors at Queens Park.  We do consider the failure of these to be important, especially when these happen at the weekends."

Previously, and on several occassions since May, when I, and other residents have phoned Vitaline to report such breakdowns, we've been told that they're not allowed to phone the repair company because it costs too much. This shouldn't happen again, and if it does, then you should contact me straight away!
