ALLEY GATE SCHEMES

Coun David Owen and myself have an annual ward budget  to spend in Victoria Ward to improve the quality of life through environmental and safety measures.The biggest demand on this funding over recent years and continuing into this year has been the demand for Alley Gates.

There is strict criteria for the provision of Alley Gates and legislation that states where Alley Gates can or can not be provided.

This coming year we hope to provide Alley Gates in the following alley's.

Bela Grove/Condor Grove

Westfield Rd/Hudson Rd /Durley Rd

Elesmere Rd/Hawes Side Lane

These schemes if supported by the residents should be completed later this year.

We have  a waiting list for new schemes and ask residents to be patient and we will do our best to assist in making the area safer and cleaner.
