WARD BUDGETS
Demand for ward budget spending continues to focus on Alley Gate Schemes and where possible Coun David Owen and myself try to meet your demands although we are restricted by regulations and the amount of money available.Due to legal reason we were unable to proceed with schemes on Durley Rd North side and in Gladstone Street North side. However we have fulfilled our promice to the residents of Shetland Rd/ Dunelt Rd. and the residents on the East side of Threlfall Rd. where both schemes have been completed.
A scheme on Frederick Street is being considered and hopefully will soon be approved and once the new funding for 2008/9 is in place we are hoping to introduce schemes on Durley Rd Sth./Westfield Rd andHudson Rd.north ends. and also between Bela Grove and Condor Grove.
We are also putting £5,000 towards purchaisng new library books for Revoe Library and Palatine Library.
