A pre-school playgroup which provides childcare for local families. Daily sessions from 9.00am – 12.00pm and 12.45pm – 3.45pm, Monday – Friday. We cater for children aged 2 - 5 years.
The provision childcare is an essential part of the work of the centre. Our playgroup gives local parents the opportunity to return to work or increase their employability, whilst at the same time offering a quality pre-school learning environment for approximately 60 local children.
The playgroup is managed and run by qualified staff and recently received a satisfactory report from OFSTED for the quality of its facilities, care and educational activities.
The children and parents of the playgroup are encouraged to take part in other activities in the centre and we especially encourage input from parents regarding the development of our service. The Little Steps playgroup and crèche greatly contribute to the success of our work and to the overall benefit to the community.
