Can Anyone Help - Physical Performing Arts in Lancashire (PPAL)

Looking for hall (best in Preston or South Ribble) with large area to put in a full flying rig, this would have to be put up semi permanent must have a floor to ceiling height of 28mtr with good strong ceiling beams we would be using it twice a week at least possibly more as it would be the only one in the north maybe further, the only other ones I know are London & Bristol.

National Youth Agency 'Sense of Respect' Conference

This is an opportunity for everyone involved in inter-faith work with young people in the North West to come together and discuss models of good practice as well as planning for the future.





Commission to review mental health services in the North West

Thursday 28th February 2008- 11am-2pm (lunch included)

East Lancs Voluntary Sector Resource Centre, Yorkshire Street, Burnley.

As part of the Commission’s review of mental health services in the north west, Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service are organising an event to give members of the local community an opportunity to have their say on current mental health service provision and the improvements they would like to see being made to these services. The event is aimed at service users, carers and voluntary, community and faith sector organisations with an interest in mental health.

COULD YOUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT FROM UP TO £10,000?

Awards for All is a small grants programme supported by the Arts Council England, The Big Lottery Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England. If you have an idea that will make your community a better place, Awards for All could make it a reality with a Lottery grant of between £300 and £10,000.





Cash on offer for healthy schemes

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cash help is being made available for local health improvement schemes - and organisations in Burnley/Hyndburn/ Pendle/Rossendale/Ribble Valley are being urged to apply for funding. East Lancashire Primary Care Trust, who are responsible for community health in the area, want local organisations to apply for an allocation from their £500,000 Partnership Budget, which is designed to help improve the health and quality of life for local residents.

Do you want to teach/train Adults?

The new Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) is an approved first stage teaching/training qualification. The course is free if you are 50 or older.

Basic Skills Training

· Do any of your employees or volunteers need Basic Skills in English, Maths and ESOL if so maybe we can help you with some free training.

· E. Net are acting as brokers to recruit people on to the Lancashire Entry into Basic Skills Project.
