Skills for Life project in Lancashire

VCS involvement in a new Skills for Life project in Lancashire. 

There are opportunities for VCS organisations to be funded to undertake brokerage and/or training delivery services to volunteers & paid staff within VCS organisations in Lancashire. 

Brokers – to recruit learners & undertake initial eligibility checks – will receive £45 for every learner that achieves on the project - needed across Lancashire, but particularly in Preston & Blackburn Training Providers – need to be registered with an Awarding Body (or have links to one via a third party) & have a member of teaching staff qualified to Level 4 – will receive up to £185 for every learner that achieves. 

It is envisaged that most organisations will be Lancashire-based or already be active in Lancashire, although this is not a requirement as long as delivery can occur in Lancashire.
