The Advice Link Money Advice Team won the ‘Best Partnership Award’ at the Institute of Money Advisers national performance awards ceremony held in London last month. From a shortlist of finalists from across the country, the judging panel felt the unique partnership between Advice Link, the local authority and Blackpool Coastal Housing worthy of the award. Customers contacting either the Council Tax recovery department or Blackpool Coastal Housing rents team can be referred to the Advice Link team for confidential and impartial specialist support and assistance with debt and money issues. The team undertake to contact customers within seven days, taking a holistic view of the customer’s circumstances and providing benefit and income maximisation checks.
The Institute of Money Advisers performance awards aim to promote and recognise quality and good practice in debt/money advice nationally.
