Sizzle


Creative minds are joining forces in Blackpool , as part of an exciting meeting that is attracting like-minded people from across the Fylde Coast.   

The doors are open to everyone who either works in or would like to work in the creative industries in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde.

Previous Sizzle meetings have attracted representations from a full spectrum of creative industries, from creators of computer games and digital imaging to jewellers, glassmakers and fabric designers.   


Cllr David Owen, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure at Blackpool Council said:

“Sizzle is a superb forum for creative businesses across the region to develop their talents and network with similar minded people, and I’m proud that Blackpool is playing such an instrumental role in this project.”

Pauline Waterhouse, Principal and Chief Executive of the college explained said:

“The College is delighted to support ......the superb work that is going on to develop the creative industries on the Fylde coast”. 

Sizzle's remit is to develop, enhance and promote the environment for creative industries in Lancashire by strengthening existing businesses, supporting new enterprises and working to raise the competitiveness and profile of the sector and the sub-region.
